Muff 245
Hunter Mahan (33/1) Camilo Villegas (40/1) Henrik Stenson (33/1) The three I'm backing. Can't see past Tiger tho.

MayboleLoyal_atb 3,448
I may be well off but is Golf not the kind of sport where literaly anyone has a decent enough chance?
Muff 245
I like Mahan. His finishes in the majors are getting better by the year, and it won't be long until he lands one. A lot of people I have spoken to have been praising him, and reckon he'll do well. I was also thinking about a few quid on an Ee/w bet on Nick Watney. MayboleLoyal_atb 3,448
A got offered free passes for the Thursday and Friday but didn't take them as I need my floating days for going away with Rangers in the CL. If I had not been a mongo and thought about it I would have took them and gave them to one of you folks on here.
Muff 245
I may be well off but is Golf not the kind of sport where literaly anyone has a decent enough chance? Really depends on how you play on the day/over the course of the 4 days. Depends on how you adapt to the course, and weather. You also need to be pretty accurate with your driver, solid with your irons, and the putter must be working; if your not putting well, then your out of contention. Yes he is getting better and is a good solid allround golfer but I think he will struggle at Turnberry. I am going to bookies tomorrow or tuesday for a wee punt

KERRZO 5
A would steer clear of Harrington, he represents no value in such awful form. Agree with Muff that Mahan is in the form of his life, also have an inkling for Villegas, Goosen and Garcia going well but honestly cant see past Woods. Muff 245
I'd love Garcia to win at Turnberry. A top guy who gives a lot of his time to other people. I just think his putting will let him down. I also hope Ernie Els gets his game together. The stroner the field, the better the Championship.
GersDude90 1
I'm marshalling at this 2 2 hour shifts each day from wednesday at the 13th. It seems like a really on form field coming in to this. Really cant see past Tiger, i see him taking this one comfortably. Would absolutly love Garcia to be up there, if he gets the putter going early then he'll be in with a shout. superalan 0
kaymer, westwood or poulter are my bets, all 3 of them are on decent form, especially Kaymer who in the last couple of yeras has been bummed up to have the talent to dee-throne Tiger and so far he is looking the game

I've never been to Turnberry, but the other Open's I've been at have always had a few fields which people park their cars in. Getting a space isn't a problem, walking through the mud is! I've got my money on the usual two: Rose, JM Singh and I think I'm going to bet either Wilson or Fisher. Don't bet Westwood, he's a bottler
