ScottBF2 3,540
Would be a great signing. Why not sign Paraguay while we're at it?

NOLUWDC 1
Not really sure if I'm thinking of the same player but I wasn't too impressed with him at the Confederations Cup. Would be unfair to judge him against Brazil and 2 matches against Spain though. Not a bad suggestion.
thesilencer 0
Why is it that everyone thinks that they know wether we will be able to get players on the cheap or not?! It all depends on the selling clubs valuation of the player and how indespensible they are to that certain club!! doh
NorthernLights 2,526
Well, I think it is common sense that Orlando Pirates wouldn't be charging as much as the big European clubs.
BlueSuedeSambas 52,671
Modiese is probably the best player in the South African league at the moment, which isn't really saying much because the league is quite poor. He's done really well for the national team, but I'm not sure if he could play to that level every week. In terms of adapatability, I think Tijani Belaid of Sparta Prague would be a better bet although he would probably cost a bit more.

Dalrybear 0
Modise is well thought of in SA and my South African mate loves him but he'd get the shit kicked out him up here much like Beasley does. I liked SA's pacey left back but again prob a bit soft for Scotland but I'm sure they both could learn (Pienaar did for example). They would both be cheap...2 million Rand is a big big fee in SA...180k
