nvager 498
Is he a good RB? Plays both as a defender and as a striker I believe. Does this not show how stretched we are for defensive cover? Could he play in the CL if we had injuries? Is he good enough. I have not seen him play except for NI where he looked very energetic.
mark_ni 12
rb? I know he can play defence but it was central defence as far as i was aware.
sneddon 6
according to the IFA website he is a striker/central defender so yes, he will probably end up right back
StevenDavis 112
according to the IFA website he is a striker/central defender so yes, he will probably end up right back Broadfoot. He played right back against one of those mad german teams we played in pre-season. Maybe the one we beat 3-0.
pcbear 10,932
Jordan Macmillan? thought he was a highly rated rb, or even Lowings still on the books, i dont think he is much good but at least it is his position, correct me if i'm wrong but when Little played for NI v Italy he was more left hand side wingerish. Liam_RFC 238
hes worth a try its only a friendly a would like to see a few others givin again does anyone know where the Game will be shown or will we have to resort to live feeds
mac444 6
What I find strange is, we gave Alan Lowing a new contract, a natural right back, yet even though we literally have no right backs in the squad available for the Portsmouth game, he still isn't involved. Is he injured or is this yet another in a long list of strange decisions?

I am undecided on Lowing, and, by all accounts, McMillan didnt shine while out on loan I dont think playing Little at RB is as left field as some think, i like him up front, but, am looking forward to seeing him tere, is meant o bea good pacy defender too

I'm very happy that Little is getting his chance in the 1st team, just somewhat bemused that its in a position that is not his own, especially when we have other young players who actually play there on a regular basis. From what I heard and saw of McMillan whilst out on loan was for the most part he was injured so didn't get a heck of a lot of chance to shine. He has a few Ah, thats not bad then about McMillan, I would like to see him at some point. Little will, I am guessing, end up in the main as a striker, although, if the other 2 dont make the grade, we are covered. Tell you what, Little and Wylde at Fullback I would love to see
gp1981 0
Lowing is on a 6mth deal so walter can assess him - For my book a top young boy and naturally a RB. Done exceptionally well at Clyde until injury - which is why only 6month deal. Plus we dont actually know if big broadshoulders will come back the same!! Juno 2
Well Kenwyne Jones started as a centre half, so there's always hope with youngsters.

Boab 73
but he's also played at right-back in a number of games. "He's featured in all the pre-season training games at Murray Park at right-back so he'll get an opportunity to play there." http://www.theherald.co.uk/sport/headlines...ge_benefits.php
TexasGers 96
It will be interesting to see him go up against a decent EPL team. Even if he performs decently, we should still be looking to bringing in somebody if possible. I think Walter knows how desperate we are for defensive cover, but his hands are tied. Garry88 0
I thought we might see Little at RB against Pompey. He's played there a few times for the reserves, and with Whittaker on national duty, I couldn't see who else would play there. Should be interesting. Unfortunately I'm working, but I'll no doubt be on here looking for updates

Muff 245
Just goes to show how light we are at the back. A striker, who can play center back is being used at right back. McMillan didnt shine while out on loan He was unfortunate with injuries! An injury to any of our first choice back four, and we are in big trouble! At least one signing is required. That's why Christian Dailly should have been given a new one year deal as he did a job at right back/center half when asked to!

He had a torrid time at Clyde and your point about him being kept on so Walter can assess him is utter shite. Like Lennon, he's only here for our reserve sides benefit and won't get near the first team. Lowing is on a 6mth deal so walter can assess him - For my book a top young boy and naturally a RB. fonics7 1
The guy is a CF, he is not a defender. exactly my opinion. he makes his international debut at CF, and Walter tries him out at RB today. FuckMe, he has done so well for us over the years, but I don't know where he gets the logic to play a CF at RB. some of you boys have said already ... youth RB's should be available in Lowing or McMillan. Strange choice, but I hope Little plays well...also hope he doesn't get taken to the cleaners by a good left winger, cos that won't do his confidence any good at all.
