Chef 436 Posted August 14, 2009 Share Posted August 14, 2009 Motherwell sign son of ex-Rangers star Mark Hateley Motherwell have announced the signing of Tom Hateley, the son of former Rangers and England striker Mark. The 19-year-old midfielder, who was previously with Reading, joins as a free agent after a successful two-week trial. He has signed a one-year contract at Fir Park with the option of a further year. Hateley, who had a loan spell at Basingstoke Town, is a former captain of Reading's youth team and helped the club win their reserve league in 2007.
