He's quite slow and doesn't move around the pitch but he will score goals if he gets chances. (tu)

He's the same type of player as kris boyd and will score probarly the same amount of goals as boydy scores in your league. Decent signing for you lot ;)

General opinion around the rangers fans is that he is a bit like Kris Boyd, he isn't the most skillfull, a bit workshy, but knows where the back of the net is

I thought he was decent in the air and had alot more actual skill about him than Boyd did, just not his prowess even though he scored 4-5 goals in as many games for us at the end of last season.

I actually liked him and he was doing well in the team.

Should never have left.

I think this is bizarre, god forbid, if Boyd is sold (looking less likely?) We have no strong striker in a similar mould who is "guarenteed" to get goals as it remains to be seen wether or not Lafferty is as clinical (and he certainly isnt an ideal target man)

I'm not getting the whole Lafferty thing at all tbh.

We should have been looking to sell him to a top end Championship/bottom end Premiership side this Summer.

Welcome to the site! Always surprised that people have to say that!

I'm really surprised with this move. As someone else said...if Boyd gets injured, we have no direct replacement. Unless Fleck might get his chance through the middle?

Are you referring to Boyd or Lafferty?
