Boab 73
KRIS BOYD has been given a staggering £50,000-A-WEEK lure to quit Rangers and accept a life-changing move to TURKEY. SunSport can reveal that TWO Super League clubs have expressed a shock interest in the prolific striker, who turns 26 today. Rival outfits Trabzonspor and Kayserspor are prepared to pay a £1.5m transfer fee for the hitman. Boyd, who hit 31 goals last season, would earn that £50,000-a-week - four time his current wages - if either deal went through. The amazing figures, confirmed to us by sources close to the deal, came to light last night with Rangers chiefs aware of the Turkish interest. Gers are in desperate need of funds and are ready to cash in on the striker, who is in the final year of his contract and hasn't been offered an extension, though they could hold out for £2m. Boyd wants to stay. He rejected a deal to sign for Birmingham last season. But the cash on offer could tempt him to reconsider. http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/ho...50k-a-week.html

J_RFC87 761
Scotland must be too warn for him given the amount of running and sitting on his arse he does. I hope we don't accept less than £2million for him.

simplythebest 11,453
Would be an alright deal given his contract situation, but it's still a fair bit less than the fee Birmingham were going to pay. Can't see it happening.
TexasGers 96
Can't see him wanting this move, even if it means he loses out on big money. And after the way they greeted Darius Vassell, imagine the reception King Boydy would get?
Guest
Kris Boyd isn't cultured enough to move to another country to play football, except for England, Wales or Ireland.
Jambo 28
I really hope we do not accept £1.5m. Selling Boyd would then also leave us short on striking options.

Maybe because in 4 months time he can sign a contract with any team and leave for nothing. That and the fact, we are skint.

Right_To_Censor 1,951
i'm gonna stick up for the lad, even though he's not a classy footballer, has no pace and can't hold up play, when it comes to scoring goals he's up theree with the best of them. granted he misses clear cut chances but he does make up for them. maybe a change of club and country could be the thing to give him that kick up the arse. hmm if it gets accepted then sdm has enough to buy himself a new garage and a pool in the back garden.
