Orangeclement 570 Posted August 18, 2009 Share Posted August 18, 2009 NAME: Ransford Osei AGE: 18 (5th December 1990) BORN: Accra, Ghana POSITION: Striker CLUB: FC Twente (on loan) FACTS: Played for Ghana aged just 16 He has recently joined the Mclaren revolution in Holland , on loan with a view to making the move permanent , the young striker is one of the hottest prospects to come out of Africa for a few years, he was the top scorer at the recent Under 17 African championships in January he has already been capped for the full squad and was recently playing in Israel but he wasnt there long as he has caught the eye of Mclaren and is now at Twente for the season. Watch out for this guy he has been attracting interest from Man City where he had a trial and clubs like Man Utd and Tottenham have also been casting their eyes towads this player. An absolute monster of a central defender, Otamendi looks is an uncompromising stopper. But as with most South Americans, his talent is born out of natural skill. He is composed and can tackle, and many have likened him to Roberto Ayala. Otamendi is not a giant, he is under 6ft, but he has made a startling beginning to his career having only made his senior debut for Velez Sarsfield just over 12 months ago. clubs watching him include Ac Milan, Lazio and the mandatory Real Madrid. he also looks like he may win a spot in Argentinas World cup squad Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Orangeclement 570 Posted August 18, 2009 Author Share Posted August 18, 2009 Another one to watch out for is Franco Zuccilini recently the 18 year old (may be 19 now ) moved to Hoffenheim in the bundesliga this summer and has a hot future, already has 1 cap to his name and can play CM or Rm but Cm is his preffered position expect to see this guy in the EPL or at one of Barcelona and Real Madrid in a couple of seasons time. A hugely gifted and skilful playmaker he can play out wide and up front, but central midfield will surely be his long-term home. Two-footed, although very much prefering his right, Jovetic has a wonderful eye for a pass - which is the main weapon in his armoury. Early 2008 saw Jovetic appointed captain of Patizan, but that was only ever going to be a brief spell as it was largely expected he would be moving on that following summer. And indeed he did, but despite interest from Manchester United and Real Madrid, Jovetic opted for Italy as he signed for Fiorentina in a deal worth around £6million. He made nearly 30 appearances in his debut campaign in Serie A, although he was in and out of Cesare Prandelli's side, but he still showed enough to earn plaudits from throughout Italy and many feel this season could be a huge one for Jovetic. Very quick and able to penetrate defensive lines at will, he has all the attributes to make it to the top. He began his career with hometown club Torino but was snapped up by Inter in 2005 after they witnessed his excellent displays with Italy's youth sides. The 21-year-old made his Serie A debut three years with Treviso and he them helped them to the Serie B title with 11 goals. Acquafresca stayed with Treviso until he was then loaned to Cagliari in 2007 - where he again hit double figures. He was sent back to Sardinia this season and has continued to shine and many predict he will be part of Jose Mourinho's squad in 2009. The 20-year-old striker has seen his reputation sore in recent months after he starred at the World Youth Cup in October. Adiyiah took the championship in Egypt be storm, not only helping the Ghanaian's to victory, but also finishing as top-scorer and player of the tournament. He was already attracting attention before his heroics in Egypt, but after the race to land him was intense. However, AC Milan moved very quickly and just weeks after his return they came to agreement with his current club Fredrikstad. But what are Milan getting for their reported £1million? Well in short, an out-and-out goalscorer. It is very easy to compare Adiyiah with Ghanaian legend Abedi Pele - and he does possess many of the same qualities. His main attribute is his finishing ability, and although happier in the box he is more than capable of finishing from long-range. A well-built, shortish young man - Adiyiah benefits from having a low centre of gravity and has very good turn of pace. He is already an accomplished striker, and it is very easy to see why Milan had to hold off interest from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United to land him. Lukaku, at first-glance, is anything but a teenager and his development helped accelerate him through the youth system at Anderlecht. Born in Antwerp, his father, Roger, is a former professional football, and Romelu's talent soon started to emerge, and he was picked up by Anderlecht in 2006 from rivals FC Brussels - where he scored 68 goals in 68 games. He continued to impress with Anderlecht and scored a phenomenal 121 goals in 88 games. Understandably he was soon promoted into the first team and was handed a professional contract in May this year, and he made his debut just over a week later against Standard Liege. This season saw Lukaku score his first goal in August and he has now become a big part of Ariel Jacobs' plans. Lukaku, who has Congolese parentage, has already committed his international future to Belgium and has played for their Under 21s and B side - although he is being tipped for a full call-up within the next 12 months. Lukaku's stature does set him aside as he looks even bigger than his official 6ft 3in status. Jano Ananidze is attracting a lot of attention after making his debut for the full Georgian side aged just 16. It is fair to say that Georgia have fast-tracked him to their senior squad to fend off Russian interest, but this should not detract away from the fact that Ananidze is a special talent. An attacking midfielder with a huge amount of flair, he has was spotted very early by Spartak scouts and integrated into their youth system. He has shone for Spartak's youth side, attacking with pace and guile, and he is already part of Valery Karpin's first-team squad. Ananidze was handed his first-team debut by Karpin earlier this year and he scored in the Russian Cup against Krasnodar. Light on his feet and baby-faced, many would assume that Ananidze is not ready for the first-team, but the boy has something special. His frame will bulk up, but he is already good enough and strong enough to hold his own against men twice his age. Ok, here's one for you all. Name: Charlie Davies Age: 23 Nationality: American Plays for: Sochaux Walter Smith wasn't kidding when he said that the current generation of young American footballers was the best yet. You only needed to watch the Confederations Cup to see that the team definitely has talent. Michael Bradley, Landon Donovan, Clint Dempsey, Oguchi Onyewu and this man, Charlie Davies all played exceptionally well. However, I reckon it would take serious money to lure the four previously mentioned away from their clubs. This boy is different though. He has pace, and a good eye for a goal; there is something that makes me think that he's just going to get better and better. This past weekend, he scored twice on his home debut against current champions Bordeaux. Keep an eye out folks.
