GersDude90 1 Posted August 21, 2009 Share Posted August 21, 2009 Its been a very up and down day. Currently 3 and a half - 2 and a half in favour of the US although Europe about to go level. Still one foursome out playing in which the Americans are 2 up but the Europeans are playing not too bad. As a side note, the quality of womens golf its pretty poor. Its obvious they cant hit the ball as far as men so surely there should be a stronger emphasis on accuracy. I cant say I've watched so many pro's miss hit the ball, its shocking! So many fat shots and thin shots, duffs and fluffs and so many really terrible putts. PS The US team has a few lookers but cant really say as much for the European team! I would do bad things tro gulbis and Wie!! I said the exact same thing to my mate not 10 mins ago I would say the Europeans look more likely to be honest. I think all through the fourballs and fouresomes the Americans have looked a bit stronger, but they seem to feed alot off each other. I dont think they'll cope so well on their own.
