I hate driving, and I mean hate it with a passion. But I can honestly say, as I was working up In Carnoustie at the time, I drove from there to Didsbury. It was the only time I've driven anywhere and enjoyed every mile of it. It seemed like every single car I passed had Rangers fans in it, everyone was smiling, raising fists in the air, just looking like 'We are the people, and we're going to win the cup'. Add to that all the people on the flyovers, waving flags, attaching good luck banners ect, and it was just magical. I travelled on the Tuesday afternoon, so I can only imagine what it was like on the Wednesday?

That result still hurts, I think it probably will until I die. However I only have great memories of the Journey, the build up to the match, being inside the ground before the match, just thinking 'I'm at a European final, watching The famous' and the sun is shining on me.

I want more days like that one, I deserve it, and my team deserve it too,

We Are The People after all.
