Muiry12 7
Like most people on here i was excited to have him back. But he hs been pretty dire since his return and seems short on confidence. Some people in here have maybe hyped him up a little bit much(future captain etc) which has made me think im still waiting on this great talent that isn't actually there. Personally, id rather have edu in there when he returns.
ShootSpeedKillLight 0
He was ok yesterday, but you have to consider that he's just coming back from a serious injury, same as Edu will be when he returns.
KERRZO 5
It will take him time although I do think he is getting better with every game. He done his job not bad yesterday IMO but looked to be playing poorly because of the formation meaning we had 2 holding midfield players offering little support to the forwards. RangersKenny 0
He has been like the invisible man (similar to Pedro and Davis) since he came back - the sooner Edu gets back the better - give Thommo time to really get his fitness back and try to get his sharpness back in training. Basically he is playing just now because we are very short in options throughout the full squad.

Muiry12 7
Lets just write this season off now & concentrate on getting ready for the next one. I mean, we're not even top of the league 6 games in ffs! Look i am far from throwing in the towel, Celtic are pish and this title is there for the taking. We haven't even lost a game yet FFS. I was mainly just making a point about Kevin Thomson which i don't think you can really argue with.

Muiry12 7
He is just getting back from a serious injury give him time ffs Who? Fleck or the OP? hahaha Look Rangersfan 12345 i was trying to ask the question, Was he that good in the first place????? Or have we all hyped the player up so much in the time that he was injured. He did have a good few games before he was injured. Im just raising a concern.
scottdee1 0
Most people will disagree but i think edu is better imo
Amac9 2,060
He has went hiding in the games he has played but you can't expect him to come staright back into the team after so long out with such a serious injury and hit the ground running. The same applies for Edu when he is back. It will take him a few weeks to get going. When everyone is fit my midfield would be; Davis---Edu---Thomson

OmarLittle 2
At the moment he's being asked to be the main defensive/holding midfielder but he doesn't have the positional sense to be good in that role and being asked to do it is taking away the things he was good at (although that is also partly explained by a lack of fitness with being out so long) . He was at his best best for us when playing alongside Hemdani. They complimented each other well, Thomson doing the ball chasing and adding the energy and Hemdani closing down space and intercepting passes. Hopefully when Edu is fit again they will form a good partnership, one to sit and one to go and close the ball because McCulloch is never the answer for central midfield. BlueSuedeSambas 57,344
The guy is coming back from his second career threatening injury. A bit of patience wouldn't go a miss.
simplythebest 11,453
He still needs to get back to full match fitness, that excuse can't go on forever but i'm cutting him a bit of slack at the moment. Plus he's not the only midfielder who's failing to perform!
Muff 245
The guy is coming back from his second career threatening injury. A bit of patience wouldn't go a miss. Exactly, he's not even played 5 games.
