boss 1,941
I'm surprised he's not been mentioned much. Only 16 and a half. Reminds me of a young Paul Scholes. I'd buy him.
ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
yes he was there best defender yesterday. every ball was cut out by him.
BlueSuedeSambas 57,230
I was impressed with him yesterday, but we shouldn't sign him because certain people will have you believe that there is no talent within Scottish football On the subject of Fyvie, is he not one of the two boys that Aberdeen accused us of trying to tap up? Muff 245
Too young for this current managerment team!
disgruntled_bear 157
What we buying him with... No seriously, he didn't look out of place yesterday. Just shows you that having a little faith in playing you're youth players isn't a bad thing. Walter take note!
Polo 1,469
yes he was there best defender yesterday. every ball was cut out by him. He was playing in the middle of the park mate. I thought Pawlett was really impressive. Paton tore Whittaker a new one as well
aird 3,974
It's fine for Aberdeen to play 16 yr olds, but not us as we have more pressure on us. If we play a youngster and he doesn't perform he gets slated (see the Fleck threads) if other teams youngsters played bad they'd say "Oh he's only young. He's still learning"

It was a tackle that Whittaker is unlikely to make because he simply isn't able to. In a one on one situation I fancy the opponents winger to have him every time. He gifted Novo a one on one because he couldn't clear his lines. He was misjudging the flight of the ball and heading it straight up in the air rather than clear. They looked more solid with 5ft 8ins Foster playing at CB!

Guest SandyWaTp
played against him a lot and he is quality. Scotland u16 captain last season. He went down to play in a tourny with Aberdeen not that long ago and caught the eye of Arsenal scouts but he rejected the move. IMO we should go in for him. BlueSuedeSambas 57,230
I don't know if we will sign him now, but he was one of the players who Aberdeen "reporeted" us for because we were trying to tap up so he is/was on our radar pretty recently. If, and it's a big if, we were to sign him then we should loan him straight back out for at least two years. Playing bouce games and sitting on the bench won't help him now, but playing first team games will. At this moment in time I would have no qualms about us signing him or Griffiths as I think both of them will go on to be full internationals.

It was a good tackle but the boy is a striker!! If Papac or Smith are not fit for Tuesday night f*ck knows who is going to play at Right back.
