CF5LOYAL 0
I thought he was fantastic tonight. He was isolated for much of the game but never stopped battling and never backed down from the challenge. Also, his link up play and his touch was superb. I hope he can take the positives from this and move on. Well done young man!
AdzKyle 8,938
Agreed, terrific shift from the wee man. Once his share of headers and pestered the back 4 all night.
McBoyd 355
Great shift from him, very unlucky not to get the penalty.

Davie2909 21
Total lack of support for him tonight. Bloody hell why did Walter bring Boyd on?? we needed goals not a laugh
Amac9 2,060
Very good first half performance but unlike most of our players fell out of the game in the second half.# Better option up top than Kenny Miller!

TexasGers 96
I was unsure about having him as the lone striker, but he put in a decent performance
CF5LOYAL 0
Should he start on sunday ? On form you have to go with Naismith and Novo up top againts the earls. They both will hassle and pressure them at the back from the off. Two little ones against their big lumps at the back, if we can play the football we did for the first 50 minutes tonight i'd fancy our chances. Exactly. Puts in the same effort and had a MUCH better first touch
adam2102 669
I was unsure about having him as the lone striker, but he put in a decent performance did as much if not more than miller imo. fantastic performance - should definitely start at the weekend

RobertN 399
dont think he is the answer did not have a shot on target all night did not create much either trys but usually ends up fouling out of frustration we need skill and brains upfront

He more than did himself proud. Squillaci will be glad to see the back of him, thats for sure.
miracle 7,859
Man of the match for me, for what it's worth.
mark_ni 12
he had an excellent game tonight, kenny miller should be nowhere near our first 11 as a lone striker if naismith can play like that imo. Didnt get a goal but he worked harder than anyone else in the team.
Amac9 2,060
But come 12:30 on Sunday he will be playing LW and Kenny Miller will be up front running around like a headless chicken!
Jardy 0
had a fantastic game, is not a nice roll to get against that kinda opposition yet he still managed to create some chances and should've won us a penalty
southdown 0
His performances leading up to this game made him a stick on to play, maybe not as a lone front man but he showed he is a much better player than Kenny Millar. Deserves to play on Sunday.
ZeGowse 13
He can be proud of his performance 2nite, though he was arguably our best player 2nite.
cooper1989 0
Superb from Naismith tonight. He's started the season well -- and kept it going -- so he's consistent as well. Would never let Novo near the starting 11 though. 60 minutes -- bring him on. Hopefully Big Kyle will be ready for Sunday? Any news on him?

Boab 73
Agree with the OP, long balls didn't help from McGregor mind you, and it was a great piece of faith by Walter to put him up there.
