Ross Perry had a cracking game for the u21s by all accounts.

A really cool debut by the Rangers kid.

Strong in the tackle and incredibly composed with the ball at his feet.

Two great challenges late on with the game at 0-0.

Showed his class and fitness to be top notch.

Looks like we could have a goodun there.

i was at the match too and was very impressed with him. he dealt with everything that came into the box with ease and didn't put a foot wrong.

perhaps his first team experience at Oxford has done him good.

Guys

Barring a disaster, the boy won't get game time

Walter simply doesn't go down that route

The boy should stay out on loan until a change happens

I admire Smith and won't criticise but if he has one failing it's his extreme reluctance to use youth

If he is good enough to dominate an u21 international game then he should be good enough to play against St Johnstone, Falkirk etc when his loan expires in January. Play McCulloch against bigger teams when Bougherra leaves for Africa but you have to bleed these youngsters eventually. Only then will you know for sure. Fergie knows how to do this.
