MisterC 12,759
Would I be wasting my time and money? I know some have said the only way to change it is to join and vote on matters which come up but would anything be achieved and would it be a case of joining little more than a talking shop? Thoughts please folks.....

Depends who you ask, you will hear figures being spouted of around 10,000+, but there was never this amount all at the same time, I think they might actually be up to about 3000 now, this figure wouldn't really surprise me. markybear 136
Mister c it wud be interesting to do a poll and see no.s of membership of the rst and the rsa on our forum. I always hear negative views on both partys but it wud be very interesting to find out percentages etc for the two in relation to rm members. Wat u think? MisterC 12,759
Regardless of the numbers there are now surely if enough people join the regime can be overthrown? Just like the capitalists will be overhtrown when the tue socialist revolution comes the office bearers at the RST can be removed too and have a new regime runnin g the show who will actually do some good for the wider Rangers support

I'll post one up in the next 10mins mate I think its important as we cant sit around forever wringing our hands over the shortcomings of the RST as it is now. If enough people join a change in leadership and direction can be achieved. Who is with me?
Jimenez 1
If you think that the RST isn't being run in the manner you'd like and feel you could offer opinions and support to get it going in the direction it needs then by all means, sign up. They are good Rangers men/woman just like everyone else... if you go to an AGM you will get your say on any topic you wish. I'll be rejoining. MisterC 12,759
Exactly Jim, if your not going to engage with them or try to do something about the direction they are taking then perhaps its a case of put up or shut up.
Jimenez 1
Agreed. I know that wont settle well with many on here, but a fractured support constantly at one anothers neck isn't going to solve anything. if there was another organization I'd join that too. Much like I post on various Rangers sites. I want to hear what everyone (or as much as possible) has to say and get my points across as well.
tommy2212 151
I joined last year, I'm not 100% sure on fan ownership but i like the way edgar comes across. Anyway i got my share certificate and members card through, ive been invited to a few things via email meetings, gerspride conference, christmas party etc but ive not attended any You also get loads of info in emails which i find keeps me update with what is happening with the RST. They also have skills audits im sure misterc could help out in one of these areas Trust Skills Audit The Trust is always looking to utilise the enthusiasm and talent of it’s members. DO YOU HAVE SKILLS IN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS? • Administration • Campaigning • Change • Conflict Resolution • Consultancy • Customer Care • Development • Disability • Equal Opportunities • Finance • Fundraising • General Strategic Planning and Training • Governance • History • Human Resources/Training • Information Technology • Legal • Management • Marketing • Media/PR • Networks/Alliances • Policy Implementation • Research • Systems

DavidCF2 29
I personally would rather spend my tenner on magic beans. If people genuinely think it is a credible organization that can make any sort of impact or change then fire in though, I may disagree with just about everything they say and think they are self serving and delusional but they are dedicated to what they believe and put a lot of work in, to be fair. j1mgg 3,766
i would have to advise not. i dont think the rst or rsa are the right organisations to take us forward. One is too close to rangers(unconfirmed) and the other is about making money for certain people(unconfirmed). We need a new organisation that is non profit based and has no links to our club. I cant see this happening so you will just have to trust your own judgement.
