I would be looking for at least £7m for Steven Davis, anything less should be laughed away - best player in Scotland, 25 years old, international player, with plenty Premiership experience, contracted until the summer of 2012... That is the main factor along with which team would buy him. Deemed not good enough for a regular start with Fulham and according to the general consensus of english pundits now playing in a league which is of very poor quality. His performances with us have improved month by month and he looks well deserving of player of the year. The fee we paid now looks like a steal but as Muff said it depends on what clubs are willing to pay and whether there is competitive interest in signing him. IMO he is more than capable of playing for a big 4 side in England. Any offers starting at £7.5m is realistic but hopefully we can hold onto him for some time yet as he is a real gem!
