AirdrieRangers 4
No they cant you cant just ban teams willy nilly cause they have done somthing you dont like.Yes you can, Rangers have banned the scum from coming to Ibrox before.Nobody is arguing that there is no law against breaking a minutes silence, but common decency and respect dictates that it shouldn't be done. What are you trying to achieve by arguing this point? They were banned for refusing to pay for damage they caused a bit different from breaking a minutes silenceIm arguing that we cant and will not take away there tickets because they upset a minutes silence. Also saying you can ruin a minutes silence and you have broke no laws and rules

opportunityknox 1
Just been hearing the filth are fizzing over the proposed minutes silence for Gerry neef a silence at the request of his family which im sure will be observed impecably by us, however the tinkers are moaning sayin we arent taking their views into account and the silence is "controversial" etc, they are just panicking in my eyes as they know every last peace of filth to man will fuck it up.SCUM of the highest order"just been hearing"?Where?Get screen grabs and send to the press, and spend less time on filth boards

Guest SandyIniesta-Nordahl
I wouldn't hold minutes silences against them or the sheep. They have proven they cannot be trusted and the tribute will not be what the person deserves. It would be the next home game for me.So because they can't control themselves we've not to have a minutes silences, get a grip GCL?it's the first home game no matter who it's against.I would rather have a proper tribute than what happened, for example, during George young's minutes silence. Did his memory deserve to be tarnished in such a way ?Fair point. All i'm saying is:it's a home game to show respect, as his family has requested,so i think the club should take that into account,if thouse who don't want to observe that, that is there problem not ours(tu)You commented on Airdrie's spelling Your a nippy wee posh boyComing from he who picked up on someone else's spelling

I don't give fuck about the legalities of the situation. Disrespecting a minutes silence for another human being deserves nothing but the utmost contempt. There was no reason for you to tell everyone that it wasn't illegal. And if you want to be REALLY technical then they actually can be arrested for Breach of Peace, because that legislation can cover any unsavoury act in a public environment. delparlane 6,001
Threads like this sadden me - a minority of Celtic fans come accross as cynical and downright sick, a minority of Rangers fans come accross like they are desperate for the tims to disgrace themselves.....with no thought to Gerry Neef's familyAnd the rest of us get tarred with the same brush.Come Sunday - bow your heads in quiet respect and never mind anyone else, if some people want to ruin it then thats their perogative.I cant see why they would want to disrupt this thoughWell put. I take it for granted that a good portion of their support will go out of their way to disrupt things; it's what they do. As for us and our team, we should show the respect due the man and ignore those that openly shame themselves. Then go out and hammer them where it counts - on the pitch. DavidCF2 29
I hope they show Mr Neef the respect he deserves, i really do.But that fact that they see us holding a minutes silence as point-scoring shows the level of compassion that some of them are capable of. They are beyond contempt.Thats what gets me as well.Unable to sit quiet for a minute of their miserable existences and they twist it to make us look the bad guys. The mind boggles with that lot. MartinGers93 388
An insight into their mindset, taken from a tim MBThe H*** are entirely entitled to have a minute of silence for their beloved reserve goalkeeper of three decades ago. We're equally entitled not to.You have to question whether someone who opted to play for the 1970s H*** - disgraced at home and abroad, with a sectarian signing policy and a sectarian singing policy - is someone for whom it would be appropriate to pay respect. That's what you're up against...... Well if that's the way they think of it they are the scum of the earth we din't ask for the minutes silence his grieving family did. they want the fans of both sides to show respect by having a minutes silence
