McBoyd 355
Boyd looked pretty uninterested today for some reason, worked back occasionally but looked slow and bored. Scored two cracking penalties but he needs to hit the heights of his December outing again.
BeautifulSeas 10
Agreed. He gave up on a few balls that were pretty close, and that he could have challenged for. Instead he left them uncontested. Hopefully he will be back to his best soon enough.
Bluepeter9 5,167
Though he had some good link up play - one header on target but not his best day but by no means his worst. Cracking penalty taker! Love the way he always puts his boot through the ball.
Craigy 0
He was waiting on too many balls coming to his feet instead of running towards it. He's not been playing aswell in recent weeks but I'm sure he'll be back to his previous form soon. Apart from Davis, I didn't think anyone played that well. dummiesoot 15,964
TBH, i thought Boyd, McCulloch, Miller all looked out of sorts, certainly not up the form we'd expect. I just seem to get the feeling watching boyd that the chances are not falling to him just now in and around the box and he appears frustrated. FlippinEck 3,665
I actually think he looks like he is carrying an injury, I dont know how long it takes to fully recover from a hernia but he said when he came back he still felt a bit when running but there is no way he has hit his pre-injury form since returning... thankfully he hasnt been a complete waste of a jersey in the games he has played otherwise I have no idea how we would have coped
Bradfield 35
Watching him early I wondered if he's still feeling the effects of the hernia injury/surgery.
Amac9 2,060
His link up play was dreadful. Everything seemed to bounce off him and most of the attacks broke down as a result of this. And IMO Miller has been awful for the last couple of games. Jardy 0
really didnt think much of his performance today to be honest
Ivybank 4,496
doesn t look the same player since his injury 2 great pens though
Muff 245
Some of his knock downs were good, pity he was caught offside. I thought both he, and Miller were garbage today, and neither look fully fit.
thebooler 4,509
Boyd was unlucky he needed an operation when he was firing on all cylinders - looks a good bit off the pace now in games.
baldeagle 0
I have a distinct feeling that Boyd's mind is elsewhere, somewhere close to Big Eck.
Bradfield 35
However, for his lack of physical prowess today, I'm not sure who else in our team would have the stones to take two penalties in ten minutes, and score both of them.
WhatYouLookinAt 0
He's not a fan of the heat, was pretty warm today. Hopefully he can buck up his performance for the final.

simon 1,727
I don't think he has looked 100% since he has come back. Miller was rubbish today. Poor from the front two today.
Jonnyboyrfc 296
Boyd was not good today. But still, he is a much better bet to nick a goal than Lafferty and for that reason, the substitution shouldn't have been made like that IMO.
Tumshie 205
Boyd was really poor today compared to his recent high standards. Still shows how far he has come that we are criticising him for that performance. Hopefully be back to his best for the last few games of the season
cooper1989 0
Well double hernia op in January -- probably not 100% fit yet.Add to that, the chances aren't coming at the moment. Not in the slightest bit worried about him tbh.
Muff 245
Look's like he was brought back too early. Probably because other so-called 'striker(s)' in the squad were not capable of doing the job in hand - contributing, and scoring!
