Well done St. Johnstone - hang your heads Rangers

Those players should be told to walk home, every single one of them. 10 points clear or not, that was an absolute fcuking disgrace - only last week we were laughing at celtc after they took a battering, tonight it could have been even worse.

Yet again the opposition wanted it more, were up for it from the start, played us off the park, took their chances, fought for every ball... they had a management team who knew what they were doing, and not one of their players let the club, and supporters down.

The attitude in recent weeks from our players has been nothing short of a disgrace (bar St. Mirren after going down to 9 men, and at Tynecastle), swaggering about the place like the league is in the bag. Well it isn't. Too many players with their heads up their arse, and too many fans more concerned about when we can win the league, without actually winning the games.

Allan McGregor, bar a few saves at Tannadice, has been absolutely awful - he needs dropped. Alexander has been for not putting a foot wrong.

Steven Whittaker is a shite defender, proved once again.

David Weir, and Danny Wilson struggled, and not for the first time against strong, and pacey strikers.

Sasa Papac has been woeful for months, he was rotten on Saturday, and bar his goal, was all over the place.

The midfield, what midfield?

Kenny Miller tried, and Kris Boyd was a fcuking lazy bastard - if your head is not in it, then fcuk off.

Yet again, the lack of pace, width, creativity... killed us - we have been scrapping results for the majority of the season, and these issues have to be addressed in the summer.

What the management were thinking about at half time, I will never know? Lee McCulloch, who has been awful for weeks (months IMO) stayed on the park, whilst Kevin Thomson was hooked... why? Thomson was nowhere near as bad. Kris Boyd, who was horrific, was hooked for Kyle Lafferty. Lafferty came on, and bar a top class knock down, put in his usual performance - the guy is a shitebag, who is more concerned about getting involved with the players, diving, and cheating - get him to fcuk! How he get's a game ahead of Novo, Beasley, and Fleck, I will never know?

Your 3-1 down, you don't take Boyd off, he never turned up, but he still puts the ball in the back of the net, and would have burried both Lafferty, and Edu's chances.

Steven Naismith was talking like he was Lionel Messi, he should learn to shut his mouth both in the press, and on the park. His constant moaning, thrapping into tackles, and miss-placed passes are a joke. Two good performances, and he thinks he is something special, well he's played himself out of the team.

You can mention fatique, tiredness... whatever, but tonight was St. Johnstone's 8th game in 23 days - and they absolutely battered us black and blue. In poor conditions they got the ball down, knocked it about, won most balls, created most chances, beat our players for skill, and pace, at times, they even took the piss, and not one of our players showd any bit of emotion, or passion.

Just a totally unacceptable performance, and one that must change on Saturday. I can't make the game on Saturday, but I expect us to give Hamilton and absolute hiding!

It was a shocking performance no doubt about that but for me you are well over critical on a number of players!

Can I ask you, were you at the game?

Apart from don't take Boyd off when you are 3-1 down, I completely agree.

The Boyd myth he'll just pop up with a goal is out the window at the moment, he's in Holiday mode and not wanting to risk injury it's there for everybody to see.

I'm glad you brought up Lee McCulloch performance. For a player who was at fault for two of the goals tonight. he's managed to stay under the radar tonight, and as you said Thomson was nowhere as bad as him in the 1st half and he got hooked.

John Fleck and DMB would have been looking on tonight, and wondering how they cant get a game.

Muff that was hard to take tonight, there is to many egos in our team who think they are better than what they are. They think the title is already won and they better get that idea out of their heads or its going to be a long run in.

I wouldn't give a flying fuck if the league was already in the bag, that performance is unacceptable from ANY RANGERS TEAM. Punters paid good money to go and support the team and they get a shite performance like that, I don't care if your off form, no Rangers team should be out-fought.

Watched on link! Why?

Maybe if you had been at the game, your reply would have been different. Slightly different watching a game on an internet link to watching it on the tv, or even being at the game - by the way, that is not a criticism of you not being at the game.

Even though we are 10 points clear we havent won the league yet...Rangers never make it easy for themselves after tonight it could of been 3 more wins and the title before the spilt which would of beeen ace but no now! they seem not to play goood when somethings in it like they did last week at tannadice they were awful when they knew a place in th quarter finals was up for graps...but tonight am one embarrassed fan lets hope this weekends better

Taking Thommo off before Lee was a fucking astonishing decision.

McCulloch was absolute garbage.

He'll never get dropped, no matter how shite he is, and he's been poor for weeks!

If he starts on Saturday, it's a disgrace.

Maybe thats the result the players needed to bring them back down?

People have been saying this since January. It's an excuse for our piss poor football, and although we have been grinding out results, our luck has finally run out. It almost did in the cup final, and did at Tannadice.

Agree mate, they have got carried away with all the talk of the league being over. Get the job done like a professional.

I understand and i would agree that most of the side where very very poor tonight but when you said papac and mcculloch have been shocking for months thats where i disagree! Mcculloch for me over the past few months has played his best football in a rangers jersey and sasa may have had a few slip ups here and there but overall has been steady all season!IMO (tu)

Agreed on the Boyd point and disagree on the midfield! They were both shocking but Thommo was the worst for me.

The only logical point I can why Thomson got brought off and McCulloch didn't at HT, was because of the direct long ball game and the chance of a set piece.

How McCulloch lasted 90minutes though, is anybody guess.
