Stu1993 101
BILLY KIRKWOOD'S under-19s will face Celtic in the final of the SFA Youth Cup at Hampden on April 28.Their appearance at the national stadium will be their fourth straight Youth Cup final as they look to regain the trophy they lost to Hibs last season. In 2007 and 2008 the Light Blues triumphed over their city rivals with 5-0 and 3-1 wins respectively. But last season Kirky's kids missed out in agonising fashion as a late goal sealed victory for double winning Hibs. However a fine run again this season with away wins over Aberdeen, Hearts and last week's semi final success over St Mirren have more than earned the 19s another crack at the trophy. And after Celtic secured a 1-0 win over Livingston last night it will be another match up between the two teams who currently occupy the top two spots in the under-19 SPL table.Kirky's kids, who have won four games in a row, have a dress rehearsal for the final this weekend when the Old Firm meet at Murray Park in a crucial league tie on Saturday at 1pm.Scottish FA Youth Cup FinalRangers v CelticWednesday 28 April 2010, kick-off 7.30pmHampden Park, Glasgow Grat news for the youngsters
Poetry_In_Blue 1,043
Excellent, we beat them recently in the league at their ground, if we win this weekend we got top of the league with a game in hand still.Erm I think that's wrong I think we'll still be a point behind but with a couple of games in hand?
