If Ray Wilkins and Amoruso are Hall of Famers

Railcard

To be a Ranger is to sense the sacred trust of upholding all that such a name means in this shrine of football. They must be true in their conception of what the Ibrox tradition seeks from them. No true Ranger has ever failed in the tradition set him.

I will tell you something, far better players than Weir have had to wait a long time to get in the hall of fame. Plus he is not a legend, he is a decent player who should have been at the club a long time ago.

Ray Wilkins played for 1 season granted he scored the best goal the world will ever see but still.

I think it's disrespectful to call his acheievements in a light blue jersey "decent" because your nostalgic for better days. I don't disagree with you about that, I know the wee prime minister should have been in at the outset. What cannot be denied is Weir has been our most commanding player since Walter returned in general, he is a credit to the club, a true blue and the quintessential captain.

As said

first six months restores the defence alongside svensson and ugo

first season 1 uefa cup final

1 league cup

1 scottish cup

lost league on last day

second season 1 league cup final

1 scottish cup

1 scottish league title

third season 1 league cup (amazingly)

1 league title (dareisay)

I know that (I think I remember 11 players out there for the most part) Quite a record all the same for a 3 and a half year period at the age of 36-40

I don't think Amo deserves his place there btw. Razor yes. Amo no.

Amo was a bombscare who knew the right things to say to get the fans on his side. IMO of course.

On that reasoning no-one should be in the hall of fame as everyone played in a team ... unless I've forgotten that time it was John Greig v Celtic

The HOF has became a sham recently.

If Weir's in it, so should Novo for his endless list of utterly vital goals.

(tu)

Possibly the first time I can remember agreeing with you.

I would put Novo in there papa !

people think because it happened over 10 years ago it is automatically more important and legendary

Amo was a liability at the back, knew what to say to become a fans favourite, weir is a fan's favourite because he is a good player, hardworker and commited to the club
