I've just had a text about this. Apparently the story goes that the press have had another gagging order placed on them for the next two weeks on Gerrard's private life to protect the FA whilst they sort out Fabio Capello's future. Gerrard is supposed to have got his wifes sister pregnant as opposed to a 16 year old girl and will hit the news papaers in 14 days. John Terry and all the England boys know about it and Terry is supposed to have had it out with Capello as to why Gerrard got to keep the armband. The supposed tension in the camp was down to half the squad backing their captain and the other half in Terry's corner and wanted the story exposed. There is apparently no love lost between Gerrard and Terry which would explain the story in the paper this morning about Beckham having to split them us in camp.

I can't completely dismiss this after the Terry incident. I've heard similar rumours from a number of people I know in the media from London through my Uni course.

Whatever comes out of it, Gerrard's a fly bastard and he's up to something behind the scenes.

Lamps is about the only intelligent one out of the lot.

I remember that shock jock on the radio called him a scumbag a few years ago for splitting with his wife. Lampard heard it, phoned in, and absolutely tore the guy to sheds. Plus he was great with the fans at Ibrox after that friendly.

Well the way he pulled his team back from the dead in that CL final could only done by a special football player. Liverpool were stale under Raffa. I think he was the luckiest manager there has ever been.
