Many thanks.Mainly because of our policy where we are supporting the charities and want to ensure that all money raised for charity goes to charity, it didn't feel right that we should keep some money for the site as it's two separate things. I love this site. I have pm'd Admin some ideas how to make money for the site, they may or may not work. Your response reminds me of two idioms, Fur coat and nae knickers and Charity begins at home. The site is huge now and gaining importance. Surely the most important thing is to keep it running? To me there is nothing wrong with having the first few raffles/nights out to raise money to keep the site running. It's done like that everywhere, clearly you advertise them as such. I am sure i'm not the only person.IT's a great site, i'm here quite a bit .. plenty of fun to be had here and now have people to call on for MW2.For the hours of joy & laughter ... a tenner isn't that bad. I like this. As for answering about charities, well, it is what we do. Obviously paying for the site is the critical point though. I am going to keep us at a sustainable level from here on out, no questions asked. In the old days we just use to be able to have a few of us pay out of pocket, but that was back when we had 2000 members. We have exploded in the past year. No one saw it coming.
