Rangers could learn from Fulham

Recommended Posts

Going by some of the comments on here its obvious the fans, players and management of Fulham are all wrong then and they should have charged £40 - £50 and played in a half empty stadium.

The atmosphere at the two Fulham games I saw against Juventus and Hamburg was 100% better than the euro games at Ibrox last season.

Maybe as fulham weren't getting beaten by every team they played.

We had no problems with attendence for our UEFA Cup run.

We also slashed the prices in later rounds.

Comparing ticket prices for a premiership team and us is a ridiulous comparison, they can afford to do what they want as they get given over £30 million in tv money.

I rest my case

I think I paid £40 a ticket for the champ league games and around £30 for the UEFA cup game IIRC.

Like DBBTB said, the teams wouldn't have helped our attendance this year. Get Man U, Real and Barca this year and Ibrox will be a sell-out, quickly.

Example of ours

40,000 fans x £35 a ticket = £1,400,000

45,000 fans x £35 a ticket = £1,575,000

50,000 fans x £25 a ticket = £1,250,000

If they can get 40-45k fans in paying £35 a ticket we make more than having a full house at £25 a ticket, its all about the £££££££££££'s
