To be honest I'm not worried if he plays this weekend or not, as for next season he would be serving a ban at the start anyway due to the initial booking he received, the length of ban wouldn't have been the same though.

Second thing is though, can you appeal against two yellow cards leading to a red in a game or is it only a straight red you can appeal against?

The system needs looked at really. At present you CANNOT appeal a yellow card unless it was given out to the wrong person as mentioned above.

Its a crazy rule really and has led to players banned from important games. Fletcher missed the CL Final if i remember correctly?

Load of tosh, man. The referee should be embarassed by his performance last night. Corners that weren't corners, free kicks when no contact was made. Pretty ironic that they're sponsored by specs that cunt needs a pair of milk bottles.

Should never of been sent off but was asking for it diving in like that and his first booking was just stupid, shot himself in the foot by always getting booked!! 15 this season is it?

Broadfoot on Sunday at CB then.

Bougherra is possibly going to be back for the final game, if not give Perry a game :D

McCulloch's had five yellows and one red in the last eight Old Firm games.

And people criticise Thomson!

He plays in a role like Thomson which in the nature of the game will lead to him getting booked. Plus he shouldnt have been red carded, simple.

I don't think you can appeal against two yellow cards, except in cases where the ref has carded the wrong player.

that'd be the case last night then, mcgayday should have got the card for that fuckin dive.

cheatin mhanky bastard.

All the ref would say is its a deserved yellow card for intent then hes coverd his back and that will be the end of it lets not dwell on this im sure we can do without him for a couple of games.

Exactly BGL, let's not act like the tims moaning n bitching at a refs decision for ages after it happens! Mcculloch is due a break from the team, hopefully means we get to see Davis and thomson together for once unless the awful edu gets played on Sunday which would, again, show that players aren't picked on merit.
