Liverpool owners Hicks, Gillett want £600M to sell up

Recommended Posts

Liverpool are being valued at £600 million on the open market.

The Times says Tom Hicks and George Gillett Jr are holding out for an offer of at least £600 million for Liverpool, but have yet to find a serious buyer more than a month after putting the club on the market.

But while that is the price tag set by the American owners, Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), the club’s lender, values Liverpool at closer to £400 million and may put pressure on the pair to lower their demands to secure a sale.

Sources close to RBS say that frustration with the unpopular Americans is growing.

Liverpool should have been able to finance a trip to the moon with the money they have spent over the years. Them and the mancs have no devine right to win anything, when you're shite you're shite no matter how much you spend ! They can blame the owners all they want but its not the owners fault. The sooner the EPL comes down to earth the better ! :sherlock:
