Chambo 197
If i remember correctly last year was a massive year for him as was the year before.
mrmytto 220
Time for him to show his worth, step up to the plate and show the supporters that there is life after Boyd.
ManchestGer 347
He'll know he'll get more chances now which he should be eager for, could be a great season for him.
bluenose andy 1
Is going to be a massive year for him anyway imo hope he gets the chance to play where he likes to play behind the strikers rather than out on the left then its up to him to show us what he can do
Amac9 2,060
At times last year he was hitting form, playing well, creating chances and looking like a player only for him to be dropped for 2 months.Time to give him a run in his proper position.
TexasGers 96
He showed good promise at points last season, although there are things he needs to work on- but his game will become more rounded with more experience.
mrmytto 220
Don't forget Shinnie/Little which ever one was be to have playing 'incredibly' at the Hong Kong 7's.

disgruntled_bear 157
It was already a big year for Fleck regardless. He's not a out and out goalscorer, and to lumber him with that tag and role in highly unfair. If we change our system and give him a free role behind a main striker then Fleck will grow in stature as a player.Lets just hope he gets a opportunity to shine. disgruntled_bear 157
One player that will benefit from Boyd leaving, is Steven Naismith
Chef 436
i think once he is in full confidence and realises he is the future then he wil shine, after all the plaudits he gained in the past im sure he will be looking forward to more regular footy, dont stop folks expecting too much though

papaguy51 912
I hope we don't return to the situation where Naismith can play shite for five weeks in a row and still get a game, while Fleck plays two good games and gets dropped forever.Maybe Smith was just getting Naismith into the habit of playing regularly because he knew Boyd was for the off. Nameless Ghoul 6,053
Hes an OK player.. No where near comparing him to boyd yet. Fleck is a greedy player who wont shoot.. Or pass for tht matter.

jamiethebutcher 0
Fleck and Miller? Fleck behind Miller?Could be worth a shout.I still think Lafferty and Miller will be the pairing and I'm quite happy with that!

Or pass for tht matter. You say greedy, I say confident and self-assured.And there's nothing wrong with that. There is sometimes. It is a team game and Fleck is far too greedy, he needs to learn but he will only do that by playing games. I really, really hope he does start living up to the hype. cooper1989 0
Nothing to do with Boyd leaving -- he's not exactly a direct replacement for him. Big year? Yes.
