fivestars 0
It's never gonna happen. Im not that bothered actually. I like a drink as much as the next guy but i dont see why folk cant go a couple of hours without one at the match. There's enough numpties near me without making it easier for them to get drunk/even more drunk.
deleteduser1 169
History would suggest it would would be utter folly to re-introduce alchohol in grounds across our binge drinking nation so I expect it will return within the next few seasons.

Ozblue 4,332
We are as bad here in Australia. We used to be able to go to the football, (all codes) or to the cricket and have a great time where we could bring our own beer to the ground to enjoy ourselves. They put the kybosh on that when they realised they were losing money hand over fist by not SELLING it to the punters, but at least you could still have a beer if you wanted it.Then the nanny state mentality came into being and the fucking fun police decided that wasn't cricket, old chap, and the Cricket and Football ground administrators came up with the money spinning idea that we could buy low strength beer in fucking PLASTIC cups at triple the price of what you could buy it at from a bottle shop.....It tastes like fucking coloured water and makes you pish every 5 minutes. AGHHHHHHHHH! Rotten bastards.I'm glad they banned bringing bottles of beer into Fitba games in Scotland, because I lost count of the amount of times I just missed getting malkied on the back of the nut with a flying screwtap in the 1950's and 60's, but I still think clubs should be allowed to sell beer responsibly at games, especially that everybody has a seat these days....But don't hold your breath waiting. sonOwilliam 0
When i go to see my local team Coleraine FC but im from LONDONDERRY if you where from here you would understand i say this in brackets so theres no come backs ( Coleraine is my local football team as DERRY CITY is a republican and fly there tricolours and bombed our British Police forces police stations just last night in LONDONDERRY the F*nians never trust one one believe me.) We can drink as much as we like and even watch the match from a big glass window, so why dosn't Rangers take advantage of the people well said
plymouthranger 4,265
The only good thing about English football is that you can have a pint inside the stadium! Sadly not on the terraces, but we always smuggle in some special half-time oranges to make post-match events a wee bit more exciting

Blue Sky Blue 0
Selling drink in the stadium would only mean I'd be up and down twice as much during a game to let people in and out to go and buy it. I go to watch The Rangers not to have a beer. If the beer means more to you, just stay in the pub I say.

simon 1,771
It never really bothered me that I couldn't get a pint at the game and in all honesty I couldn't be arsed with it at all. I went to the Emirates tournament last year and it was brilliant sitting in the sun and watching the football with a beer, best beer garden ever! Saying that sitting freezing my balls off watching football in the winter, the last thing I would want is a beer. They would make a fortune though. cooper1989 0
There is already a huge problem with booze. The point is though... selling it @ matches will make no difference. The real issue lies elsewhere.Proper education, leading to proper jobs, & ultimately, social responsibility. It isn't selling pints at fitba matches that causes social unrest and irresponsibility.
