Touchpad

Help please.

Whenever Im typing the cursor jumps all over the place, sometimes closes the page etc

Anyone got any ideas? i googled it but the only advice i can find is to get a mouse, but I want to get the touchpad working normally

Wipe it and make sure nothing on it when your touching it and also make sure everything else is out the way of it including the bottom of your palm near your wrist as that will touch it and make it go carazyyyyy

When i first got my laptop my wrist kept hitting it and it drove me mental

Don't know if it will be an help but. I was having problems with my laptop touchpad (acer) a couple of weeks ago, phoned to get it looked at and they told me to reload the recovery disks. It wiped the computer but it all works perfectly again.

Failing that try and find your touchpad driver from google
