Thought Arsenal were far from outstanding, sending off shaped the game and the scoreline flattered.

Great result but I dont think Arsenal proved anything we didn't already know about them.

Arsenal created the best chances and dictated the match. It was very good imo.

They deserved to be down to 10 men.

Throughly desevred it today, but still cant envisage Arsenal being able to cope with Chelsea or Man Utd unfortunately. They have a good run of games now anyway.

Arsenal certainly deserved it, but were far from impressive after their goal IMO.

Created few chances, and there was a while you thought City may get back into it.

Also, should it have been a red card?

The rule is denying a goalscoring opportunity, i don't think Chamakh was reaching that ball before Hart...

thats the point, he wasnt given a chance to try and reach it before the keeper because he was fouled,

if he wasnt brought down it was between him and hart and if chamakh wins the race he has a goalscoring chance

But what if the ball is quite clearly going out of play because of a heavy touch, and he is brought down? There is no opportunity, cause he was never going to reach the ball.

Unless Chamakh turned in to Bolt, he had no chance of beating Hart to it.
