docspiderman 1,337
Watched the game on ESPN and it looked as if we have narrowed the pitch quite a bit from the Nain stand view. Can anyone who was at that side confirm?
dummiesoot 16,359
Wasn't there but certainly looked like it on the telly. Could this be to counteract our lack of width?
Stu1993 101
Thought this myself mate, noticed it when i seen players warm up looked like they had alot more space.
wearethemighty 186
Maybe Walter's thinking 4-3-3 or 4-1-2-1-2? Narrow through the middle fullbacks pushing up
ofb1988 61
pitch was defo not as wide, remember thinking to myself when edu got barged over in first half that what if a player is pushed and hits his heed off they electronic boards, they could take a sore yeen, then looked at the far side of pitch n thought they were miles away from the pitch compared to last year

AllYAdair 1
Me and my dad were discussing it the day, looks narrower especially at the govan side, maybe 4/5 feet narrower... And our theory was the lack of wingers made us do it?

mrmytto 220
Thought the same, could be useful in the CL mind you, playing against teams with wingers.
andy500 463
I was at the game and its one of the first things the person I was with pointed out. At the main stand side, its been pushed in by a fair bit.

GOAT 30,449
Means no new wingers No it doesn't.It doesn't take that long to put a big white line on the pitch.
Ferdasyn 431
You could see the old lines next to the new ones - deffo less width on the pitch.
