Loan signings to boost the squad?

The squad we have is pretty bare, however there are quite a few gems in there like gregs, bougie, davis etc.

With the premiership only allowing teams to register 25 players could we wait till they are announced and pick up the ones who have missed out on loan for a reasonable loan rate?

Looking for instance Man city? masses of fantastic talent and many wont play this season we will have the ball in our court as any deal is better than having players earning who cannot play

loan signings are very welcome as long as they are better than our strongest 11 players

no problem, bring them in

i wont be moaning if the loan player(s) scores the goal(s) that wins us the europa league or league title

it depends on what we are to pay them

i dont want us spending high wages just to "borrow" a player for a year, especially if the poor bastard gets crocked and we end up stuck with the wages for nothing, as well as that these guys may end up huffing at being shipped out on loan, and have a bad attitude

young lads (like the arsenal boy) that are looking to make a name for themselves are a different story though, cheapish wages and a hunger to succeed

that would do me

I'm all for it if the wages are acceptable (preferably a %) and the players are better than the first XI & want to play. Simple as that. (tu)

In normal circumstances id say no to a loan signings but given our current situation then i think it's essential. If they are sensible targets we can also agree fees if they do well or look to arrange a transfer if they do the business (Steve Davis anyone??).
