Kyle Hutton

Bar one wayward pass, he did well and hes one of the youngsters I rate really highly. He is capable of getting forward which I thought he showed a couple of times today but he is capble of doing the dirty work... Just wish Walter would have started one of the youngsters in the middle instead of sticking Naismith in there, but it goes back to that other point I made that just because Naismith has first team experience, Walter is content at shuffling the pack so that established players who have shown they can play at this level will get a game

Naismith was probably our best player today and looked excellent at times so I would say Walter was correct in playing him there.

On Kyle Hutton I think he looks a good prospect. It's refrishing to see us bringing through a young player who can play central mid and actually goes looking for the ball. Too many youngster around who don't have the balls to go demanding the football from their older teammates. That was what I loved about Barry Ferguson when he came onto the scene, he had the courage to go and demand the ball and get it.

He hardly got a touch, made a few simple passes and and then done a horrible pass.

Too hard too judge the boy on 10 mins.

Why have you quoted a post on Lafferty? This thread is about Kyle Hutton!

Re Kyle Hutton; a few interceptions and neat passes, along with a few poor passes and terrible touches... looks strong and athletic.

Was encouraging to see him demanding the ball. Had a wry wee chuckle about the groans that came after his wayward pass that went out but on the whole I think he played quite well.

shut it you ignored me when i shoulted on you going in main stand :D

He only made one stray pass?

Showed some good touches, wantedthe ball and ran at players. Hopefully we see more of him.

I thought he looked pretty decent.

He wasnt scared to ask for the ball and he got stuck in as well.

Hes a big boy and got stuck in when he had to, his tackle near the end when he ran away from the ref and hid behind Weir was a cracker!

He had a good driving run as well where he beat a man or two, as much as you can judge someone in 10mins i would see it was very promising.

I wonder why he came on before Shinnie or that though...rated higher or just more suited to the type of game?
