BlueSuedeSambas 42,618 Posted March 21, 2007 Share Posted March 21, 2007 Hmm an interesting point, but if you look at our team from twelve months ago we have replaced Waterrues with McGregorKyrgiakos with WeirAndrews with EhigouLovenkrands with AdamRicksen with ThomsonI mean you have to ask if we really improved. The five players that we let go have 155 International Caps between them and you have to ask what set of players are the more talented of the two. Against those comparisons then only Weir would have got into our starting 11 regularly last season. I truly believe Lovenkrands, Ricksen, Andrews and Waterrues would have kept the others on the bench. We have not improved because we have more Scottish players now, we have improved because we were so abysml during the first half of the season and took steps backwards when infact we should have taken steps forward.
