Now that the transfer window is closed & we have brought in James Beattie, Vladimir Weiss, Nikica Jelavic & Richard Foster but also lost 7 players, I’m just wondering what you think our best formation & best team is for the current season.

Here’s mine:

4-1-3-2

:mcculloch:

:weiss: :davis: :Naismith:

:jelavic: :miller:

i have seen ferdasyn's 11 papac - THE reason for registration. greetings from vienna to all bluenoses.

sasa's success is remarkable. the only player from fk austria wien who survived le guen although sionko's and sebo's reputations within the austrian bundeliga were better.

hope jelavic shows more punch as he did at rapid at bundesliga games.

I think most teams will begin to use the 4 2 2 2 formation this year look at man city for and example de jong and toure both centre defensives mids breaking up the play brazil used it at the world cup also with felipe melo and gilberto silva i especially feel it will be used in europe and away from home but hey im no wattie smith :praise:

sorry mcculloch but edu has potential and I reckon you'll play at least 25games this season anyway

Fleck, as said above, is not a left midfielder, but we have seen young players in the past start out wide and then become centre forwards once they gain first team experiece. Thierry Henry springs to mind as a good example. I think fleck needs games this year, I dont want us to waste his potential talent
