McGregor today.

Just showed how much he's been working on improving his game, especially in the first half Mcgregor's ball distribution was top notch. Hopefully he can keep this up (tu)

It's been apparent since the start of the season, taking the ball and looking for runs and spreading the ball about as fast as possible. But he also know's when he just needs to calm the tempo down.

Really impressive start to the season by Shagger

We have been SO lucky with keepers this last while, just shows the big man upstairs is on our side :)

Woods, Goram, Klos, Shagger.

Has any team in the world had 4 keepers THAT good inside the last 25 years?

Shagger is a fantastic keeper - his kicking etc has let him down in the past - seems to give the ball away far too much, so if he is improving thats great news :)

same mate thought he has become a more confident goalkeeper with coming for crosses and distribution ect..not had many saves to make and thats due to the class of our defence lately and lets hope it stays that way.

keep it up shagger.

noticed it myself this season, everytime he gets the ball its a quick throw out left and right, or a kick left and right to the full backs, it was probably the main thing missing from his game and he seems to have improved loads since last season

Everybody keeps on about shagger and how lucky we are to have him as he is a brilliant keeper...which he most certainly is.

We also are blessed to have ANOTHER excellent keeper in Alexander, who while not being quite as good as Greegsy, would walk into any other team in Scotland no argument at all.

The situation might not be the best for Alexander's career, but it's absolutely brilliant for us. (tu):21:

spot on man,i had this discussion with a tim colleague, they always seem to have dodgy keepers whilst ours are rock solid and i makes a big difference the base of any good team is the defence

that's true - even for short time goalies: will never forget ronny watereus first old firm appearance stopping craig bellamy. we had a very good keeper in lionel charbonier, too. even graham roberts wasn't that bad (tu)

Any other SPL team or even possibly lower half of the premiership, Alexander would be first choice. I guess that's a testiment to McGregor and is why he's easily in the top 5 British goalkeepers. Neil, would probably be in the top 10.

That's a massive exaggeration RE Alexander.

Before he joined us Alexander hadn't even played at a higher level than Championship and he hasn't come on so much that he's better than the twenty/thirty keepers who were better than him a couple of years ago.

Alexander is a solid number two for a club the size of ours. That's about it.
