Our last win at Pittodrie

23rd December 2006 under Paul Le Guen - 2-1 with goals from Libor Sionko and Nacho Novo.

No wins since Walter Smith returned to the club; 6 games played, 3 losses, 3 draws, 2 goals scored, 7 against, 3 points from a total 18. A terrible record that must be broken next Sunday.

Never an easy place to go, Aberdeen have taken 7 points from their first 5 SPL games, but that doesn't really matter as we all know what Aberdeen side will turn up. Their players and supporters wont need telling, and Mark McGhee will have them fired up as usual, we have to make sure that we are switched on from the word go. None of this slack, sloppy, one-paced, slow start that we get, especially with the earlier kick off's. We will have to match them for determination, awareness, passion, fight... and let our quality show through.

I know we have Bursaspor at Ibrox in the Champions League three day's later, but we cannot let that get in the way of what will be a sticky game up at Pittodrie, and the management team cannot afford to rest players with that game in mind. A win at Pittodrie is long overdue, and it's about time the players went out there, and got the job done!

After Dunfermline, which wont be easy, we have a tough run of games; Aberdeen away, Bursaspor at home, Hearts away, Motherwell and Valencia at home followed by the bheggars at celtc park... I don't expect them to drop many, if any between now and the game against us, so we have to make sure that we keep on picking up the wins.

We're now heading into our 7th game of the season, come the Aberdeen game it will be our 8th, and I'd expect the players to have settled, and raised their game.

We are due a decent performance at the sheep arena and if they play as if they are in a cup final (As they undoubtedly will) then we have to show them exactly why we are champions.

If our guys can't fire themselves up for this mob, they should pack the game in immediately.

The next month will be importing to how our season goes... we need to win at places like Fir Park and Pittodrie, we havent done that the past 2 seasons and we have still won the league, so if we do it this year, we will be going in a good direction

Its ridiculous how bad and how unnoticed our record against Aberdeen up there in that rat filled, shite hole is Since Sir Walter's returned. He's been brilliant since coming back, no question, but he'll know how bad his record is up there and that'll be gnawing at him.

We have a similar record at Fir Park, Walter Smith's only win there since returning was a League Cup tie, no league victories.

Records like that need to be broken this season, we've won every game so far but so have Celtic so the margin for error is very minimal this season!

Dont think we will have much problems next week, were due a win against them and with the form of Miller right now a would back him for another couple of goals. Expecting another good shift from Jelavic, reminds me of big Dado, just glad we have him at a decent age

In my opinion Edu should not start.

Bar Manchster United were you get more time and space on the ball as it's a bigger ground, he has been giving the ball away far too easily. The players won't have time to fuck about on the ball up their, they'll be in our faces the whole 90 minutes. Luckily it hasn't been capatalised on yet, but even giving the ball away cheaply is never a good idea, espcially at shitodrie.

Was at that game, can't believe it's been that long since we won at that shithole.

With the taigs still having a 100 % record, we really can't afford to be dropping points on Sunday.

And just to make it harder, if we do get a win V Aberdeen, we go to tynecastle the following week after our home tie to Bursaspor, big games coming thick and fast the next few weeks :D
