BlueSuedeSambas 53,778
If we are talking about guys like Bentley, Giovani, Sandro, Bassong, Ekotto, Palacios & Pavleychenko as being back ups and squad players then surely you can only count guys like Djouru, Eboue, Rosicky, Danilsen & Vela as squad players too, because the mentioned Arsenal players are every bit as likely to be on the bench as any of the Spurs players mentioned are.Last night just highlighted that Arsenal have far more strength in depth than Spurs do, depsite many people talking about Spurs' squad depth on a regular basis. IMO reserves are players who would normally be playing in the youth sides , not players that play when another first team member has been injured , its a first team squad of 25 not a first team of 11 and 14 "reserves". Stopped watching MOTD because of the so called "experts" that come on the show with their nonsense
papaguy51 912
It's a hard one to call between Spurs and Arsenal, at least I think it is.
biotechnology 2
Guys"Arry" said after the game on Saturday which Hutton changed when he came on that he hopes Hutton cements his place in the team now.He wasnt signed by him & was injured when he came in-plus has had some bad publicity, getting thrown out a pub after punching his dad & partying when injured ect.(not endeared himself to Harry)He is getting another chance & I hope he takes it.Great player in the mood & for a full back one of the most dangerous in the world coming forwards. sdunsmb 43
It's a hard one to call between Spurs and Arsenal, at least I think it is.It really isn't. Spurs had had a remarkable season last year and even then they were battling for fourth spot, while Arsenal were in the title race until the last 2-3 games with their best two players injred for most the season. This season, I fancy Arsenal to be pushing for second, whilst Spurs will be in the race for fourth with Man City.
