Smile 26,535
Laudrup, Gascoigne is the best player the English have produced but he's nowhere near Laudrup for Rangers.

papaguy51 912
To be fair, not being as good as your brother when your brother is Michael Laudrup isn't exactly that bad.
caseyjones 3,009
That's some statement!A personal opinion, mate, but at his peak, I'd say that he was up there with the elite, the ones who eclipse 'world class' players.
papaguy51 912
A personal opinion, mate, but at his peak, I'd say that he was up there with the elite, the ones who eclipse 'world class' players.I agree mate, it was just a bold statement I heard Mick Quinn talking about the first time he saw Gazza as an 18 year old for Newcastle reserves. He was watching a game when this young lad took the ball from the keeper, passed it out wide, kept running, got the ball back on the half way line, passed it wide again and kept on running and recieved the ball on the edge of the 'd' at the penalty box.The ball got played back into him and he hit a volley first time into the top corner. Instead of celebrating, he ran into the net, got the ball between his legs and hopped all the way back to the half way line where he just sat on the ball and waited for the opposition to get back up Nearly as good as him booking Basile Boli in for a sunbed session in his first week at the club. What a man.
