simplythebest 11,437
Another difficult European night for our star SPL peformer Miller, very isolated in the lone striker role particularily in the second half. On a personal level he must be frustrated he can't bring his domestic form into Europe, but it's just the way Walter Smith plays and i'm sure ultimately he'll be happy if we do keep getting results and eventually progress, whether it be in the CL or Europa League. 1st_Jan_1994 4,868
I feel a bit sorry for him. He ran himself right into the ground and was unlucky a couple of times.A couple of times I was petrified incase his hamstring went, tbh.
mmrfc1873 48
I hate seeing him in the lone-striker role, he'll never get a goal if he's playing in that position.

simplythebest 11,437
Not bothered who scores as long as we get a resultEveryone will be the same i'm sure, but it's incredible how different his form is in Europe compared to the league. The tactics really are changed for Europe that much.
theweebluenose 4,331
Miller works best when he's got someone to work up front or is playing the supporting role to another striker like he did with Boyd.
mmrfc1873 48
Its important Kenny get's goal in Europe, if he doesn't, after a while, it could effect his confidence, which would effect his SPL form.
bluegecko 306
you only have to look to the league to see what he can do with a strike partner but in europe as a lone striker I don't see him scoring, but walter has him there for his work rate not just a goal threat

The tactics really are changed for Europe that much. He's got a thankless task up there himself. got into a few good positions tonight but the passing from midfield was way off. Still, not complaining , 3 points !
ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
No i don't think he will. tbh he's not good enough for european football. and i love kenny ,miller

TravelingWilBEARy 4,319
He's the lone striker so it's going to be difficult for him.He had a good chance tonight at the start fo the 2nd half, though.
