If Rangers or Kirk Broadfoot do not get their lawyers on to this and demand an apology and retraction then this piece of shite will continue to write such disgraceful comments.

This is what he wrote in his match report about Kirk Broadfoots performance last night

"But after snapping Antonio Valencia's leg in Manchester former St Mirren star Broadfoot broke Sen's heart in Glasgow"

Hi Drew,

Thanks for your email.

Unfortunately that one line in my article doesn't come across in the way I wanted.

I didn't intend to suggest for one minute that big Kirk deliberately broke Antonio Valencia's leg.

To be honest that's the last thing I'd do.

Kirk did say after the Man Unitd game that he made contact with the player but everyone could see he was blameless.

If you look back to what I wrote that night, I said so at the time.

Clearly I've not said that clearly enough in this instance but you can rest assured that I'll speak to Kirk and apoligise

Thanks again for your email.

Terrible wording from a professional that should know better and even worse for Kirk Broadfoot. He was just as distressed as Valencia was that night, even Rooney had words to console the poor man.

I'm glad in his email reply he said he would apologise to Kirk Broadfoot. That's a start.

That's his standard reply, a few lads over on VB already have had that word by word.

He knew exactly what he was writing.

His Editor also knew exactly what he was writing otherwise he or she would have pulled him aside and said " Do you not want to change the wording in that sentence as i think it may be inflammatory"

Neither did so to come out with such a pathetic response merely insults our intelligence.

His apology should be in writing and on the back page of the Sun tomorrow for all to see.
