Walter, having failed in a bid to play more adventurous football last season at home, reverted back to the system that worked so well at Manchester two weeks ago and a general concept that saw us do so well in the EUFA Cup run, defend well, keep some possession and take your chances when they come.

This saw Rangers line up with three centre backs, two wing backs, a midfield four and Miller as the lone striker up front and the game started in a fashion that you would have actually thought that this was an attacking set up.
