On-loan Manchester City winger Vladimir Weiss believes Rangers have shown they are capable of topping their Champions League qualifying group.

The winger was left on the bench as Rangers beat Bursaspor 1-0 to confound their critics by leading Group C.

But he said: "Overall, we got a point at Old Trafford, so we have done well in the league and the Champions League.

"I think we can go all the way and finish first or second in the group after our good two games."

Four points is fantastic, but a single goal win, in our easiest game, does not point to a table-topping side. He should do his talking on the pitch, if he ever gets the opportunity.

You on about? I never said it was a "disaster" to finish second.

I'm merely pointing out that just by beating Bursaspor we can't expect to finish top of the group. The games against Valencia will be the hardest of them all, especially in the Mestalla. Nothing wrong with confidence, but we won't be finishing top of the group. Glad the players believe though.

I don't think we'll finish top, but I am very happy that even among young players not getting any game time, morale is high.
