davyh27 0
I didn't think Weiss had a great game today but think that in the end a game like today where it's tough for him could be really beneficial for him. I think he now more than ever will realise the pressure of playing for Rangers and will hopefully step it up in the coming games.

adam2102 558
im glad you're a positive thinker. i just cant see past how poor his delivery and final ball is. why is he still taking corners?
DivDee 49
He was absolutely abysmal, If Jela didn't get injured he was on his way off for big Kyle

DarcheVinny 1,003
a good thing for vlad would have been to be subbed for young greg and dropped for the well game. he wasnt chasing back, crossing anywhere, not even skinnin people to get to the byeline. very disappointed. Blueshoff 10,474
Thought he was poor, couple of times he lost the ball and didn't chase back. When he did get by someone he was fouled but at least he kept ttrying. More game time won't do him any harm - maybe realised the SPL isn't as easy as he thought. Turnberry18 3,204
Walter, far be it for me to tell you your job, but please play him on the right. Late on he went to the Right and played better. Not a great game for him, but he's learning, and with a player his age you are going to get this now and again.
IfYeCannae 48
He was absolutely abysmal, If Jela didn't get injured he was on his way off for big KyleNaismith was coming off for Lafferty.

Right_To_Censor 1,951
he shouldn't start the next game if i'm honest, i thought for the past few games he's played he's been shocking so i think he should have a spell on the bench.
TexasGers 96
Hopefully just an aberration!
Jocky Broon 207
Didnt have good game and his final ball and set pieces were shocking. I wonder what all those who were criticising Walter mid week for not playing him in the CL are saying now.Walter doesnt always get it right but he does far more often than ny of us. Weiss needs to prove himself capable in the SPL and then he can think about starting in the CL.

mrmytto 220
The fact that he was playing on the left must have aided is fantastic performance a lot.
DarcheVinny 1,003
im starting to tire of the way that when he loses possession he just falls to the floor. has a lot to learn to carry on being a success here after a good start
Right_To_Censor 1,951
The fact that he was playing on the left must have aided is fantastic performance a lot.he played on both flanks today, either flank never worked for him.
martyboy2009 11
He had a poor game and his deliveries were poor but ive gotta say that playing him on the left is just crazy, he looks much much better on the right and naismith looks comfortable on either side so lets play to our strengths! I also thought that our defence, except papac, were horrible today and dare i say it, Jelavic was poor. Lets just put it down to a blip tho, we got the 3 points and thats all that matters! pwrfc 32
I actually agree with the OP, if he's a professional about it, he'll take his criticism and say "OK I'll work to do better" or if he's came up here thinking "This will be a piece of piss!" it will have hit him that he's not the big fish in a small pond. Turnberry18 3,204
He can get very slack on the final ball, and at set-pieces; he should look at that part of his game. Is he trying to prove himself too much at times? perhaps he should compose himself a bit more. Sometimes he looks a man in a hurry, instead of reading the game more. I feel he sometimes takes another touch, instead of releasing the ball at the right time. Very good player though, last week at Aberdeen was a tough test, and he did not too bad. FlippinEck 3,514
Weiss, Miller and Whittaker were among our least effective players today I thought
mrmytto 220
he played on both flanks today, either flank never worked for him.Left side for the majority of the game, he kept trying to cut inside, but it wasn't working for him.
mmrfc1873 48
Weiss, Miller and Whittaker were among our least effective players today I thoughtI'd add Davis into that, again I thought he was poor.
