John Hughes leaves Hibs

Apparently Hibs have failed in a bid to make PLG their new manager! :craphead:

Hibs appear to have failed in their bid to land Paul Le Guen as their new manager.

The Easter Road club identified the former Rangers boss as their No.1 target to replace sacked John Hughes.

It is understood the Edinburgh side were hoping the Frenchman would be interested in returning to Scotland after an unsuccessful spell at Ibrox.

Le Guen arrived in Scotland in 2006 with a reputation as one of the top up-and-coming coaches in Europe.

But his tenure turned into a disaster as the team struggled to win and he was eventually fired after an internal power struggle with captain Barry Ferguson.

Le Guen is once again out of work after being dismissed by Cameroon following their disappointing displays at the World Cup Finals in the summer, but it is understood there were too many hurdles to overcome for a deal to be feasible.
