FatPirateHooker 141 Posted October 6, 2010 Author Share Posted October 6, 2010 I think the England 'goal' was a turning point.Say what you like about Germany, and I agree that they are the superior team, but there was a 20 minute spell in that match where England absolutely pounded them and that goal should have been the reward.You simply cannot predict how that game would have panned out if they'd went in 2-2 at the break.Or it could have ended 8-2... to ze germanz. If it had been another manager, and Pirlo had been fit, and Cassano had been taken, and Quagliarella had more than a cameo part, they would have deserved to win it. 2010 was a blip.
