bluepeter 5,627
He's obviously working on something which could relate to Rangers, not on Rangers' behalf. Seems to me he's suggesting corporation tax could be offset against stadium improvements? Why jump all over him. As for you mytto, "I don't believe you?" You're either 15 or 45. If you're 15, STFU. If you're 45, grow up

boss 1,941
We paid zero in 2010.And we paid zero in 2009.How are you going to spend that zero on stadium improvements?
BILLYSNOVO 5
We paid zero in 2010.And we paid zero in 2009.How are you going to spend that zero on stadium improvements? indeed you are correct. The balance of historical tax losses are available and were used to offset against future profits as and when these are generated.I think the original poster has been reading some propaganda on some 'mis-informed/self taught accountant' mhanky sites.I know exactly what he is trying to refer to but he getting excited on meaningless figures misread. Working on something in the background at work and think stadium improvments could be done instead with this money.Guess your talking about capital allowances on capital expenditure which can be offset against tax over future years. If the finance staff at Ibrox haven't worked that one out without someone having to tell them then the club is in more financial trouble than we could ever imagine.
