Guest
There are a few things in life that you can be absolutely one hundred percent sure of: death; taxes; walking into a lampost at least once in your adult life; and the fact that football fans are, by nature, fickle. One day, a manager is Jesus Christ reincarnated. The next, he has transformed into the epitome of incompetence, about as useful as a chocolate kettle. The same goes for players, directors, chairmen, and everybody else involved in the maelstrom of daily life at a professional football club.Rangers fans, had they been unaware of this before, are now only too familiar with this universal law.View the full article

Chambo 197
Credit where it's due. He's had a great start to the season and let's hope it continues.I was one of the many who just didn't see what Naismith did for the team. For a long time he offerend nothing in the way of flair, guile, pace, creativity, finishing etc, etc. All we got was endless effort which is commendable but utterly useless by itself. Whether it was down to injuries or lack of form the fact was he just wasn't doing it!!This season however he's a different player. On top of the effort and determination he's added some intelligent play, clever runs from midfield beyond the strikers and most importantly goals and crucial ones at that!He definitely benefits from having a player in Jelavic who's clever enough to see these runs and pick him out with nice through balls and one twos. We've deperately needed a midfielder who can get in front of the strikers for years. Ferguson did it briefly but I really don't think we've had anyone do it consistently since Durrant. Maybe emulating Durrant is a step too far for Naismith but lets hope he proves me wrong again!
