peigi_2.jpgWe're all at varying levels of despair over the injury to Nikica Jelavic sustained at Tynecastle last weekend, at least keeping him out of one Old Firm game, an injury administered from Hearts rugged midfielder Ian Black.

Rugged is a polite way of me saying that, well, let me say this - from the 2004/05 season to the end of the 2006/07 season, three stalwarts of the Inverness Caley team were Ian Black, Darren Dods and Ross Tokely.

Those three are not exactly the most deft and delicate of players - in the same way that a sledgehammer isn't the most deft or delicate of tools.

good stuff. but it ignores the simple fact that thomson is a homer.

if the tackle was at ibrox balck would have walked and similarily if mculloch or edu had made it they would have walked.

dont believe hes a homer.

sent thomson of at tynecastle.

ignored celtc penalty at ibrox

ignored about 4 rangers penalties and sent of whitts at torbett towers.

the list is practically endless and every club has had a serious and justified beef with him at an away game.

ill be delighted if he refs one of the two oldfirm games at ibrox.

It was more of a sending off than Kevin Thomson's was at Tynecastle last season

it was indeed. but thomson was away from home.

it really is as simple as that with thompson.

watch him do an hamiltion motherwell game sometime. or ust watch any game hes ref in.

you can tell the home team just by watching his decisions.

Always been a shocking ref, I had posted the stats before of his sending off, found them here

From November 23rd 2008

Totally shocking again yesterday. I dont even think he was pretending to be neutral.

Had a wee look at his stats when reffing the Old Firm and they make interesting viewing

Celtic games reffed = 20

Celtic wins = 16 (80%)

Celtic draws = 3 (15%)

Celtic losses = 1 (5%)

Points per game = 2.55

Celtic Yellow cards = 30 (1.5 per game)

Celtic Red cards = 0

Gers games reffed = 17

Gers wins = 6 (35%)

Gers draws = 8 (47%)

Gers losses = 3 (18%)

Points per game = 1.53

Gers Yellow cards = 30 (1.76 per game)

Gers Red cards = 4 (a sending off in 24% of games)

The variances are absolutely astonishing and no other current SPL referee comes anywhere near the sizeable difference.

Wasnt quite 75% tongue.gif
