Then have to end the process in task manager but takes it a while to end Done it about 6 times in the last hour. Anyone know how i could fix it? ScottBogle 30 Posted October 9, 2010 Share Posted October 9, 2010 Turn your Modem off that the wall and disconnect all the wires from your modem and Wifi leave it for 30 seconds, Connect it all back up, turn the modem back on at the wall and Restart your laptop. Dobie.7 0 Posted October 9, 2010 Share Posted October 9, 2010 That is very common, Mine does that occasionaly what I do is turn off the modem (as said by ScottBogle) then back on again which does work for a while. Aparently its a problem with internet providers not any of your soft/hardware, some companies are worse than others.If i were you I still wouldnt rule out a virus though, they work in many wierd, wonderful and different ways. Anyone know how i could fix it?Phone your ISP and threaten to cancel unless it's fixed. This only works if you own the broadband, if not get your parents to do it.
