No worries at all in this league, yes we may lose some goals, but so do every team.

In Europe, so far, we have been solid, although we will get our hardest test when the away tie with Valencia comes up.

In this league, its fine, for now, there is not one team in this league who worries me, the standard is depressingly poor. We are the best of a bad bunch, miles in front of all the rest.

Wouldnt mind a new left back and a new centre half if im being honest. Sasa has no competition and Weir looks like he could stop playing at any point.

Bougherra is a big part of what's wrong with it, he doesn't seem to interested in the league but when it comes to the champions league he's suddenly fired up. Weir get's a lot of the blame because of his age, which is pathetic.

it is a prolem area, it dictated by the general lack of pace outwith boughie. In europe we cover this up by playing 5 at the back, in the spl we get by because the majority of teams are utter tosh.

Look at miller, decent pace, not electric by any means. the vast majority of the time i've seen him play in europe or internationally, the opposing centrehalves have been just as quick or quicker whereas in the spl, at times he looks like a midget orange usain bolt.

utter crap, bougherra made some mistakes, but he's made plenty of last ditch tackles this season. Fed up seeing weir try a mid length ball and give it straight to the opposing midfielder and put us on the back foot.

So we forget about the mistake's he's making because he's made some last ditch tackles ?

I'm not saying Weir has been outstanding this season, but the amount of blame he's took for the defence being pish this season, while Bougherra has went blame free for the majority of it, is atrocious. But then again, he's 40 now, so it's much easier just to blame him.

i'm not saying weir is to blame, i don't think he has done much wrong defensively, his distribution is awful though. My main problem is that with his inclusion in the team, the team is set up to suit him predominetly even if is a detriment elsewhere to the team.

boughie has had a shocker couple of games, i said before i get a liitle worried when he goes up-field of late, back to basics boughy, get yer fitness sorted then back to the heroics, early doors and we will end up best defence again no doubt

Looking at our record since he joined how can we say we have been set up to our detriment anywhere. If the team is set up to accomidate Weir then it's working. Asx for losing his pace , he has been doing that for 3 1/2 years now but doesn't seem to be any slower to me.... :sherlock:

as i said weir has done nothing wrong, the team is set up around him. I just prefer to see our team 20 yards up the pitch. I'm old fashioned in a way that i prefer a more attacking open game. I know this is niave and we would not get the same success, but football in general is not same spectacle as it used to be. More and more teams are going ultra cautious(the main reason the world cup in general was pish).

Nonsense, Bougherra is having to do the work of 2 sometimes 3 men.
